Fluid Fest is Calgary's premiere contemporary dance and performance festival.

With dense programming in October/November each year, it offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the possibility of performance. Sink into interconnections between distinct local creative voices and artists coming our way across many kinds of borders.

Fluid Fest features numerous performances, workshops and artist talks across multiple venues in the city with artists from across Canada and beyond. The fest holds something for everyone, whether that be an experience of wonder, an adventure through the offerings of poignant artists of the moment, or an opportunity to connect.

Fluid Fest is presented by Springboard Performance, which bridges disciplines with clustered festival programming, creative residencies, performances and more. Springboard champions exploration of physical contemporary practices; in deepening understanding of art and ideas, and supports the aesthetic risk-taking that challenges both artists and audiences with new ways of seeing, representing and responding to contemporary life.
